1428 MHz Yagi Antenna  

 Absolute reliability in harsh environments is achieved in this rugged yagi design. The antenna has 10 dBd forward gain and a front-to-back ratio of 20 dBd. Alodined aluminum elements are heliarc welded to the boom to create a waterproof joint and prevent intermodulation. Resistance to ice build-up is enhanced by a black fiberglass tube radome on the driven element. Stainless steel u-bolt mounting hardware is included for 1.25 inch and 1.75 inch pipe mounts. The u-bolt plate is mounted for vertical polarization.
